This elegant couple is not really cold but it's an excuse for him to hold her close. And it looks like they may have to spend the night together in that nice peasant's cozy cottage. But that's okay... it's the 18th century!

A quintessential boudoir art scenario beautifully executed and a wonderful example of the art of the pochoir. We wish we could decipher the marvelous signature but the best we can do is Gaston as the first name, while the last name is a wild concoction of Ys and an X and some kind of double M. But the man is a master of the genre.
