Barometer is framed by a holly wreath and clock body houses thermometer bordered by foliage in relief. Thermometer segment is supported by a meandros emblazoned buttress festooned with a garland and finished with a ribbon in relief.
Such a piece would have been a prized household object, especially for those interested in weather patterns.
