This beautiful sommerso vase is definitely from the isle of Venice. The silhouette is an elongated pulled shape know as "swung". The deep ruby glass is encased in clear glass and the foot print is triangular. It is similar to the very popular MCM elephant foot vases. This vase is a gorgeous example of Murano glass work and it would make a great addition to your collection or a fabulous holiday gift.
