For over 50 years Marina has created the highest quality timeless pieces from the rarest materials. This library center table also functions as a writing table or desk with an open front allowing for legs to comfortably sit under the desk without a stretcher to block the area. The top of the case has a decorative gadrooned edge and is fronted by three deep storage drawers with patinated brass pulls. The top is supported by a dramatic base featuring bobbin turned and barley twist legs. The walnut desk has an intentionally aged patina and distressed finish to mimic an 18th century piece. Produced at his large facility in Mexico. Strong and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The desk is signed with a certificate under the top dated 2000. Alfonso Marina signature in drawer.
