An exceptional vintage Southwestern sterling silver cuff bracelet attributed to Gibson Gene, a Diné (Navajo) silversmith known for his distinctive chip inlay and silver overlay jewelry. This striking, wide cuff showcases a bold geometric composition combining turquoise-blue and red-orange inlay with intricately worked sterling silver. The bracelet's substantial proportions, symmetrical design, and decorative stamped details exemplify the distinctive artistry of Southwestern jewelry.
The centerpiece features a diamond-shaped silver motif embellished with a sunburst design, surrounded by geometric patterns and flowing forms outlined in turquoise-blue inlay. Warm red-orange inlay creates a dramatic contrast against the turquoise and polished silver framework. Intricate hand-stamped borders, scalloped accents, and darkened details further emphasize the depth and craftsmanship of the design.
Artist's hallmark: Interior mark identified as the stylized Peyote Bird hallmark attributed to Gibson Gene.
Metal: Sterling silver, tested with an electronic metal tester.
Measurements & Fit
Interior circumference: 5½", with an additional 1½" opening, for a total measurement of approximately 7".

Bracelet face height: 1.42", measured north to south.
