Striking iridescent blown glass vase by California glass artist Steven Zachofsky.
The vase stands 7" tall by 3 1/2" in a rich amber color with tones of blue, green, and pink highlight this beautiful piece. It is in excellent condition and is etched by the artist on the bottom.
He established an independent glass studio in Padua Hills, California. There are numerous articles published in regional newspapers during late 1960's and early 1970's about Mr. Zachofsky being one of the few artist in country capable of working with glass and ability as a glass blower, creating such unique art work. His work became available on the secondary market between 1967 and 1975.
