the figure was made by the no less prominent french glass manufacturer daum nancy.
the shape corresponds to a figure/cross that grows up on a base – an upside-down capital.
the correct name for the material is pate de verre - a very complicated creative process that only a few glass artists have mastered. The result is impressive surfaces and color combinations - in this case violet with burgundy, brown and yellow.
daum only executed salvador dali's design 150 times. All figures are signed and have the corresponding number of the limitation. This figure is number 145 of 150.

the sculpture is signed on the front (with raised writing in the glass) with dali, on the back on the base with daum, 145/150, and made in france.

since the object was designed by the artist salvador dali, was made by the famous daum glass manufacturer, is in excellent condition and is also limited, this sculpture is a highly valued collector's item.
