This is a carboy where Dame Jeanne was once used to preserve liquids such as brandy, schnapps or marc. We find them today in modern interior decoration. Dating from the 19th century, it was made from blown glass. The craftsman gave it the pretty shape of a large bottle, with a delicately flared neck. Generously proportioned, it is a pretty piece with a bohemian spirit. Its long stretched collar is slightly off-center, which testifies to its artisanal origin.
The carboy is old and is hand-blown glass and dark green in color. The glass is rich in bubbles and various inclusions. The shape is very original, unusual and demonstrates artisan work. Lady Jeanne is in very good condition.
22cm in diameter and 37cm in height.
