This pretty stemmed glass is signed by the jack-of-all-trades artist, Jean Marais. An endearing character with boundless creative energy, he produced sculptures and ceramics in Cabris, then in Vallauris. The ceramic takes the shape of a chalice, it is a timeless creation, with a beautiful presence.
The ceramic bowl is a production from the 70s. We appreciate the raw, mineral appearance of its green-brown enamel nuanced with black and beige, and its classic shape. It is in good condition, signed on the side in stylus by Jean Marais.
