We are selling this great 19th Century needlework sampler. This sampler we believe is American but could be English. It features simple lettering and is signed Susanna Howard with a picture of a house and garden, two ladies one with an umbrella and a bird in a tree all with a border. Some heavy fading. Possibly Southern.
Condition: Some heavy browning and fading but a very nice sampler. Some glare from the framing.
