Set of 6 vintage Italian handpainted decoratives ceramic plates for B. Altman NYC.
B. Altman was a luxury department store on 5th Avenue and 34th street in New York City, founded by Benjamin Altman in 1865.
The reticulated plates feature an assortment of fruits on top of leaves. The edges with blue trims are reminiscence of delicate lace.
It is a very pretty set, perfect for display in an old French country style china cabinet.
