Louis XVI style ribbon back fauteuil features refined neoclassical detailing inspired by 19th-century French design. The carved round back is surrounded by a ribbon motif and delicate beading, while the fluted legs and scroll armrests are adorned with acanthus leaf carvings—classic Louis XVI elements thoughtfully reproduced.
The seat is wide and comfortable, complete with a loose cushion and carved ribbon apron along the front. The frame has a soft tan wood finish with subtle flyspecking for an aged effect. It has been newly upholstered in crisp white cotton duck with a double welt, offering a clean, fresh look that blends with both traditional and modern interiors. The seat cushion is generously padded with foam and batting for everyday comfort.
