This large early American brilliant cut glass tankard pitcher was hand cut by the J.D Bergen Glass Co. from their … Read more This large early American brilliant cut glass tankard pitcher was hand cut by the J.D Bergen Glass Co. from their glass house in Meriden C.T which J.D Bergen started in 1880 and they made this tankard circa 1900. This tankard pitcher was hand cut with a lovely sunflower pattern over the top of a deep geometric hob star and diamond fan border design that was hand cut by a skilled glass cutter done on a thick heavy lead crystal glass blank. This J.D Bergen large 40-ounce brilliant hand cut glass tankard is in "Pristine Condition" with no chips, no cracks, no repairs, and very little wear to the piece for the age of it.
