the design is an absolute classic by josef hoffmann, known as "schwarzbronzit, var. B", and used also for the famous glass series. As one of the founders of both the viennese secession and wiener werkstätte, hoffmann was among the most influential architects and designers of the 20th century.

this is a truly rare opportunity for design lovers. The lampshades are nos (new old stock). Handmade by lobmeyr for a renowned viennese design store, they built their own lamps. We acquired the remaining unused lampshades from the owners of the design store, when it closed. Therefore, we only offer the lampshades, not the lamps.

each glass can be used in multiple ways, either with your own lamp base, as a decorative object with a vase, a candle, or it can be enlightened from inside with your own table lamp.

the price is per pair (high or low). We have 3 pairs high (32 x 19.5 cm) and 3 pairs low versions (17.5 x 35 cm) available. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
