This unique piece of Mossi Tribe Burkina Faso craftsmanship 68" by 41" .
Traditional Hand spun indigo and white and black dyed cotton yarn and a silver thread. Hand-woven into strips and sewn together, this cloth is an excellent example of the wrappers typically worn by women of the Mossi people. Though used, it is well-preserved and the indigo hue has mellowed over time to a graceful color. The piece is 100% cotton, soft to the touch, and can serve a variety of purposes. Use it as a blanket or throw, a distinctive wallhanging, or cut it up and make something new.
Please refer to photos for the fabric's condition, which displays a shredded side and a small hole caused by use and age. Overall, the fabric is in good condition.
