A superior handmade Chinese bamboo birdcage with 3 lovely celadon bird feeders for a small bird and a double dragon perch! Various intricate carved plaques slotted on the side featuring dragons - the carving detail on these is amazing. As is the carving on the rim of the cage.
Made by hand with a carved 'underneath' area featuring a dragon and phoenix, and a large handle for hanging. The base has a single handle to support the piece. The carving underneath is intended to be seen when the cage is suspended.
A gorgeous piece from China/Hong Kong in the 1980's.
