Offered is a hand-painted and burnished glaze vintage circa. late 1960s, early 1970s green floral pitcher or vase made in Tonalá, Jalisco Mexico, a province renowned for its earth-tone clay and for all the pottery and ceramic art created since the 1950s.
This pitcher measures approximately 5.5" across 5.5" in diameter, 6.75" in height, and is created with a creamy light green undercoat and the body is embellished with a blue-petaled and brown flower (native to the region), and decorative flourishes, brush strokes and squiggles in black..

There is a minor chip along the rim of the mouth, however, it was painted and glazed. It appears that several air bubbles also burst during the drying process. Please see photos.
