Crafted in Italy circa 1880, and 5 feet in lenght, the stunning piece is ornately decorated with a richly gilded, rococo-style frame featuring intricate carvings and hand-painted scenes. The top of the frame is crowned with an elaborate pierced crest embellished with floral and scroll work decor, showcasing a central painted panel with pastoral or historical imagery.
