Blackened brass house bell mounted on a black lacquered aluminum frame. Attributed to the Austrian midcentury designer Walter Bosse. The use of depictions of various animals (cat, dog, cow, goat, giraffe, lion, monkey, or elephant) is characteristic for Walter Bosse's designs, which were manufactured by Herta Baller. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
