Beautifully designed Berte Jessen for Royal Copenhagen 10" tall vase with an ornate floral inspired abstract pattern. The indigo, yellow and cranberry glaze remains vibrant.
The vase stands 10" high with a 2.5" diameter top opening and a 3.75" bottom diameter.
Made in Denmark, the bottom marks date this piece to 1967.

- There is a prominent dime size chip on the underside of the top rim, the chip has also created a … moreThere is a prominent dime size chip on the underside of the top rim, the chip has also created a hairline crack which can be seen on the inside of the top rim, please see the last few photos for all the close-up details. This piece is a prime candidate for Kintsugi, the Japanese technique of repairing broken pottery with gold. The process involves gluing broken pieces of pottery back together with a Japanese lacquer, then painting and decorating the joints with gold or silver powder. Outside of the chip the vase is in very nice vintage condition, some light scuffs and surface scratches can be seen throughout. less
