This listing is for a fabulous pair of Mid-Century Italian Chinoiserie Watercolor Prints, double matted and framed in a gold … Read more This listing is for a fabulous pair of Mid-Century Italian Chinoiserie Watercolor Prints, double matted and framed in a gold gilded faux bamboo wood frame. When these art pieces were acquired, one of the glass panes was shattered. The glass pane has since been replaced. During this process I discovered that these pieces were stamped with a company logo of "CRESCENT" as well as a stamp that read "Made in Italy" as shown in the pictures. The images are of Operatic Japanese Costumes. The first frame has a piece called "La Bellezza" (The Beauty) and a second piece called "Musicante" (Musician). The second frame has two pieces as well. One is called "IL Vampiro" (The Vampire). The second piece is titled "Musicante" (Musician). Both pieces have an Academy of Arts Sticker on the back with additional information pertaining to the art pieces. Aside from the glass pane that was replaced, all items are in as found vintage condition and show signs consistent with age. These are beautiful collection pieces that will compliment the decor in any study, office, hallway, family room, or just about any room in your home. See less
