A 19th century French Gien faience decorative charger or shallow bowl, hand-painted in orange, green and light blue on cobalt blue ground with Renaissance style imagery including a central medallion with a cupid and crown, allegory motifs, griffins and satyrs. Gien mark on the underside with two holes with wire for hanging. Circa 1875-1890.
