This lovely teacup and saucer set was imported by the Lipper & Mann Co. from New York, N.Y who imported pieces from Japan which they started in 1949. Lipper & Mann sold their merchandise at 225 Fifth Avenue on the show room floor where this teacup and saucer was originally sold. This teacup was made in the Royal Halsey pattern which is a gold floral transferware design done over pink with red roses all over that was. This teacup and saucer set is in "Pristine Condition" with no chips, no cracks, no repairs, and very little wear to the set for the age of it.
