Early Blown Pressed Flint Glass Bar Bottle, Boston and Sandwich Glass Co. Circa 1830's
Attributed to Boston and Sandwich Glass Co. Sandwich, Massachusetts circa 1830's
Blown Pressed flint glass, meaning a hot gather of glass was blown onto a mould and "pressed" to the current shape and pattern.
Sunburst pattern, and a broken pontil mark on the bottom. The inside of the neck is smooth, indicating it was to have been used as a bar bottle, and would have used a cork stopper/pour spout.
Size: 4" across, and 6 3/4" tall
Condition: Excellent overall condition. Broken pontil mark on the bottom. Use and wear marks from age/use.
