Here is a pair (2) of exquisite, Vintage Japanese vases. The pair is porcelain and hand-painted. They depict a Geisha woman with noblemen surrounding her. The pair is absolutely beautiful in the Moriage style (raised enamels). The pictures really do not do these vases justice, as they are so intricate in person! The details, accented by the raised enamel paint, are so amazing, and the colors of deep green, gold, and rust are so dynamic. The mark on the bottom translates to, “Great Japan.”
Each vase is 5” tall by 3” wide in diameter with a 2” diameter top opening.
