In the center of the lid a bouquet of flowers has been painted and on the top of this one, rests a little bird with a long tail framed by a flowery ramage and crossed by a red ribbon. This brighting piece hails from the Mid-18th Century in Venezia and masterfully shows the lacquered Venetian style.
