This magnificent and exquisite 5 lights Chandelier, in brass and porcelain with a refined mat light green color, was made … Read more This magnificent and exquisite 5 lights Chandelier, in brass and porcelain with a refined mat light green color, was made by the well known Wedgwood English pottery factory, manufactured through the cooperation with an Italian factory during the 1970’, it is one of the latest pieces that were left in stock until today. The Greek and Roman scenes have been applied by hand and they give to this chandelier a timeless distinction. Since the Eighteenth Century, the Company Wedgwood have been producing pottery ranges which have become collectors' items. The jasper range has embodied classic shapes and decorations which have surpassed their contemporaries. Tha Wedgwood jasper range was manufactured at Barlaston, Staffordshire, in accordance with the traditional craft as originated by Josiah Wedgwood in 1774. The final color achieved still depends, not only on the pigments and preparation, but also largely on the heat treatment to produce the unique Wedgwood blue. Wedgwood was also used to produce lighting chandelier and the brass 24 carat gold plated was the only possible metal to compliment they, and today well represents the Neoclassical style of these exquisite pieces that perfectly match in a contemporary mixology style. The porcelain part is an original Wedgwood product and this item is the result of the collaboration between the Italian factory and the Wedgwood manufacturing. The total height with the chain is cm 100 or 39.37 inches, the body is height cm 46 or 18.11 inches 24 carat gold plated brass. The chandelier is in perfect conditions, new and never used. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
