THE PARTY
Size: 15.7 x 15.7 inches (including frame)
Acrylic and oil pastel on canvas
An engaging and playful contemporary abstract still life composition that uses a combination of geometric shapes and bold colours to create an intriguing visual experience, painted in acrylic and oil pastel onto canvas.
The subject matter includes an array of objects that resemble kitchenware and fruit, placed in a loosely organised manner across the canvas. These objects are scattered across a soft, neutral background.
The colour palette is vibrant yet balanced, and the artist has skilfully layered contrasting shades to demonstrate depth to the painting. The brushstrokes are expressive, with visible layers and textures that suggest a tactile quality. Each shape has also been outlined with dark lines, further highlighting and emphasising their form.
This painting comes unframed, and is in very good condition. With its edges painted, no framing is needed unless preferred.
