I can't find documentation on this piece, so I'm uncertain of its era, but the color and type of pottery/ceramic seems to indicate age. Signed/marked on base.
The fruit appear to be mangoes. The background of this jar is a soft sand color; the fruit are yellow, pink and robin's egg blue, with touches of cream white and green leaves. The interior of the jar and the lid are a soft robin's egg blue.
The design itself looks contemporary, and I believe this piece would fit into many different style environments.
Dimensions: overall 6-5/8", with the base measuring 4-7/8" of that and the jar is 5-1/8" wide, so overall a good capacity.
Selling to settle my mother's estate -- she was an ASID interior designer in Newport Beach and San Clemente, CA for 40 years.
