Pair 19th C. Christofle Silvered Bronze Putti and Crystal Centerpieces
France, circa 1875
Highlighting the extraordinary skill of Christofle’s makers, this exquisite pair of 19th-century Christofle silvered bronze putti and crystal centerpieces showcases the remarkable craftsmanship of the renowned French silversmith. Each centerpiece features an allegorical putto, draped and wearing a laurel wreath, standing with open arms on a naturalistic landscape base. These mirror-image sculptures are fitted with removable crystal bowls measuring 4 inches high and 5 inches in diameter. The overall dimensions of each piece are 10 inches high, 8 inches wide, and 4 inches deep. The bases bear the 'CHRISTOFLE' mark, the manufactory stamp, and the inventory number '1028351'. These centerpieces are in excellent condition and ready for immediate display and use, making them a perfect addition to any fine collection or elegant table setting.
