This coin was minted in the Athens, Attica County, during the second half of the 5th century BC. On the obverse side, the head of Athena wearing a crested helmet, three olive leaves along front edge, palmette on bowl, and a spiral behind her ear. On the reverse side, an owl with tail feathers represented as a single prong, an olive sprig and lunar crescent in upper field to left, all within an incusive square.
