mounted on … Read more A beautiful pair of absolute design classics: 2 verner panton side chairs (dining chairs), upholstered in black leather.
mounted on a swiveling trumpet base made of cast aluminum. Manufactured by fritz hansen, model system 1-2-3. Designed in 1973. Seat width approx. 44 cm. Seat depth 50 cm. Height 86 cm.

both chairs are in very good condition—apart from the seat, there are no visible signs of wear.
the magnificent 1-2-3 chair pairs wonderfully with: danish design, designs by eames, louis poulsen, the saarinen tulip series, usm, and much more.
and the chairs form a great quartet with the black panton chairs from fehlbaum—also available in my collection (see last photo).
