An icon of Italian design, the Boby trolley was designed by Joe Colombo for Bieffeplast in the 1970s. Joe Colombo received the SMAU award in 1971 for his design.
The Boby trolley is permanently on display in the collections of MoMA and the Triennale di Milano.
The trolley has a rectangular base and features many compartments, with three drawers that open outwards by rotating at an angle. One section of the top is removable, allowing access to an opening as high as the structure itself.
It bears the designer's signature on the bottom shelf.
The object, made of white plastic, is in excellent condition with some signs of wear. This piece has an attribution mark,
