Antique, Japanese, eggshell, red and gilt Kutani set of 4 plates in the ‘Thousand Faces’ pattern. Upon close inspection one can see that none of the small faces are the same, they all have their own characteristics.
Made in Japan during the late 1800s - early 1900s.
Bottom marks present, but hardly legible.
