A vibrant mid century modernist still life composition, painted in oil onto canvas.

In this composition we see a large arrangement of flowers in vase, with a second smaller jar of flowers on its right, and a fruit on its left. The artist has painted the scene loosely, even leaving areas of the canvas exposed. The palette is rich and vibrant, imbuing the painting with a very bright and cheerful tone. The objects and flowers are set against a lovely blue background, which contrasts with the colours of orange, red and white that pop nicely.

The painting is presented in a slim wood frame that suits it well. Both painting and frame are in good vintage condition.
