Between 1953 and 1957, she designed asymmetrical porcelain vases for the Rosenthal porcelain manufacturer. Her works can now be found in the most renowned museums around the world, such as the Fine Arts Museum (Taipei), Pinakothek der Moderne Die Neue Sammlung (Munich), Victoria and Albert Museum (London), Musée Ariana (Geneva), Carnegie Museum of Art (Pittsburgh), and many more.

The vase is marked on the bottom as follows: Form Number "2646," "Beate Kuhn," Rosenthal Germany, Art Department SELB, and the painter's signature.

The subtle decoration is typical of the 1950s in yellow and lavender.
