It is called … Read more Here is a beautiful Japanese Kutani fine porcelain figure of a cat, curled into a sleeping position. It is called nemuri neko , meaning sleeping cat or peaceful cat, and represents having the peace and comfort to fall asleep. The cat has a white body with gold painted details. There is a red and blue polka dot neck bow with a bell to one side. I love the details on the cat's face - she just looks so peaceful and sweet! From the early 1900's, likely 1910. See less
