This luxurious room divider showcases an intricate hand painted scene and a rich lacquer finish, reflecting centuries of artistry passed down through the generations. Add a sophisticated East Asian accent to your home decor with this exquisite folding stunning decorative room divider . It is hand-painted and hand-lacquered, and made of heavy, durable Elm wood. This impressive screen has four superbly decorated panels , which features the emperor and empress in the court yard with several women in waiting serving the emperor and one boy serving tea to the empress. The figures are made of mother of pearls and an antique soapstone.
,On the reverse a beautiful minimalistic bamboo design painted with gold color . I really do not know the age of this but it looks old , I assuming it is mid 20 century item or it could be older due to the high quality crafting.
The screen is generally in good condition with one minor scratch as per photo. It looks old and it might have invisible signs of use and age.
