A fine bronze sculpture by listed French artist Jean Garnier.
A young nude woman with long flowing hair and a tambourine.
Approximately 10" wide x 10" high.
Signed in the bronze. Very good condition.
Jean Garnier was a 19th-century French sculptor best known for his bronze figures and decorative vessels. Born in 1853 in Mouzeuil, France, Garnier would go on to exhibit at the Salon des Artiste Francaise, winning an honorable mention in 1892. The artist died in 1910 in Paris, France.
This is a fine opportunity to acquire a rare bronze by this talented sculptor.
