There are three "D" shaped handles covered in beautiful gold gilt. The base and bottom of the chalice have an intricate beaded edge with grape leaves, all in magnificent gold gilt. The inside is also covered in gold gilt. Backstamp reads: "CA for Ceramic Art Co., Trenton, NJ in a circle, then Belleek below. This stamp indicts this piece was made between 1889-1905. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Height from top to bottom=8-3/8 inches, Diameter at rim=5-1/8 inches, Diameter including handles=6 inches. This marvelous American Belleek chalice has been well cared for, gently displayed and is in excellent antique condition, free from chips, cracks, losses or other imperfections. Gold gilt is intact without losses. It is the perfect addition to your collection, particularly if you admire the Art Nouveau style! See less
