This is a discontinued pattern, having been retired in 2002.
The Burgenland Blue series from Villeroy & Boch, produced since the 1960s and still a favourite long after production ceased.
Burgenland is a land in the south-east of Austria. The dishes well represent the quiet and peaceful landscapes of Burgenland.
