Rare carved gourd shaped Asian box with lacquer and gold finish and decorated with white, green, and red "glass jewels". The perfect little storage box that resembles a pumpkin!
No markings.
Good overall condition. Loss to some jewels and the top fit is not perfect due to the hand made nature of the piece and its age.
Mid 20th. C. - origin South East Asia - possibly India.
