Set of five exquisite, hand-colored, large 18th-century vertical copper engravings depicting 1st-century frescoes found in the ancient cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum after centuries buried in the ashes of Vesuvius eruption. These engravings illustrated "Delle antichità di Ercolano" by Ottavio Antonio Baiardi (1694-1764) and Pasquale Carcani (1721-1783) first published in Naples in 1757.

Outstanding as wall decor for a foyer, living room, hallway, or similar spaces, when hung at a height where they can be appreciated in detail. They seamlessly fit into a variety of decors, including neoclassic, modern, traditional, and more.
