A contemporary abstract portrait painting of a young beekeeper with touches of cubism.
This is one painting from a series inspired by a client commission. The client had requested a connection to nature, whimsy and renaissance portraiture. There is a reference to Fede Galizia, better known as Galizia, ( c. 1578 – c. 1630).
All organic motifs and symbols are for the delight and interpretation of the viewer. This portrait is created with several layers of brush strokes. Confident brush work showcases a level of excellence, skill and an emotional connection to this scene.
