'Cascade of blooms' 30" x 30" acrylic and oil on canvas with textile and sand.
First in a series of 5 bold floral paintings by Pamela Kogen, inspired by floral textiles as a springboard for the explosion of flowers in the pictorial space. Pamela Kogen received her BFA in painting from Parsons School of Design (NYC). She is a multi media artist, the use of textiles being a prominent subject in her work. Pamela currently lives on the west coast and has a studio in Sausalito, CA.
