These beautiful urns are covered with lids that have pointed spheres and the rims are hand-painted with gold gilt. Hallmarks: Both pieces are stamped: "SP, Dresden and 4768" which indicts the maker was Thieme Potschappel and this mark was in use beginning in 1909. Measurements for these fabulous creations are: Height from top to bottom including lid=10 inches, Width at widest=4-1/2 inches. This marvelous pair of lidded vases or urns are in excellent antique condition, free from chips, cracks, losses or other imperfections with all paint and gilt intact.
