A Antique French Creamware Plate With Black Transfer Decoration, "Vue De La Grande Serre", Circa 1800
Made by Stone, Coquerel et Le Gros, Paris France circa 1800
Inscription: Inscribed within circular medallion, beneath illustration: Vue de la Grande Serre
Marking: Impressed on underside: STONE / COQUEREL / ET / LE GROS / PARIS [with surrounding circular legend]: PAR BREVET D'INVENTION, Manufre de Décord sur Porcelaine, Faience
Size: 8 1/2" across/wide, and 1/2" tall.
Condition: small glaze chip on the edge. Use and wear marks are consistent with age/use. Wear scratches on the back, and light utensil marks on the face.
