A rare, vintage lacquerware box and coaster set, in the Manner of Mottahedeh. Features a box depicting a Chinese ancestor style portrait of Emperor Hongwu. Housed inside are a set of six coasters depicting various Chinese Ancestor portraits. Lacquered finish on wood. Double hinges are present to the back of the box. Cork backing to each coaster. Unmarked. Circa 1970.
