The Imari inkpot has a removable lid which has an intricate ormolu basket design topped with leaves and a flower. The base has intricate ormolu with leaf and floral designs. The feet are also shaped like flowers with leaves and flower climbing up the base. The feet have some felt pads attached. The black top of the base had painted gold leaf design across the surface.
