The patinated cast iron is polychrome decorated in period, Art Nouveau taste, retaining the original teal paint that's now faded and distressed, accented by later added complimentary gilding - gilt paint. The blade has been removed for safety. The hand carved pine planks are in great shape, and present wonderfully with a warm, nicely aged patina over the whole.

Great for almost any interior or space, from farmhouse chic, rustic modern, country French, Provincial, Tuscan, Victorian, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Mediterranean, cottage and lodge, kitchen decor, table, bar or cabinet, to name just a few.
